Cut to Nest

Cutting plate directly to the customer's nested layout, marked and kitted by assembly.

Nesting from the customer's DXF removes a handling step and a scrap allowance from the build line, and lets each blank be marked with its part number and heat as it is cut. For yard and vehicle work the kit is bundled in build sequence so the line opens one crate per assembly. Cutting process matters on armour: waterjet and laser limit the heat affected edge that plasma leaves.
