Overview
Stancor Defence supplied EN24 / AISI 4340 High Tensile Steel in 40 mm to 300 mm diameter for EN24 / 4340 round bar supplied annealed for machining with mechanical results certified in India, released against EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 certificate traceable to the heat, with the ordered test scope.
The challenge
The customer needed EN24 / 4340 round bar supplied annealed for machining with mechanical results certified that arrived to the ordered specification and size, on the build or shutdown slot, and fully traceable to a heat number — with the test records attached rather than promised.
What we did
We released Per release of EN24 / AISI 4340 High Tensile Steel in 40 mm to 300 mm diameter, inspected before despatch, marked with the heat and part reference, and shipped against the programme with EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 certificate traceable to the heat, with the ordered test scope and the ordered test and inspection reports in one document pack.
